Old Stuff!!

Below is work from my days at Pratt Institute...

Mainly work from 2002, but there is one shot from 2003. This is my first reel, which got me an internship at curious pictures (oddly enough, my first job never asked me for a reel). Anyway, featuring my first ball bounce, first college short, first dialogue shot, a shot from my first job, and a character from my first walk cycle assignment. Lots of firsts, and they look it.

This is all stuff I did while interning at curious pictures in 2003. I was there for three months, but nearly 2 of those months there wasn't much going on, so I was left to animate whatever. I did some Jimmy Neutron tests which I don't think I can show, and I spent some time doing a new (never finished) short based on a idea I had for an assignment. I animated the first shot of the reel for cartoon network, although I don't think this version of the shot aired.

My final project for Pratt, a friend modeled and designed the characters and environment, and we collaborated on the film. I started work on this (rigging mostly) in very late 2003 and finished around April 2004. This is not exactly a film that suffers from excess amounts of plot.

And this is the reel that got me the Furby job. Also, 5 months later, this reel got me into EA, but with two additional shots: one was a character getting hit by some malevolent cubes, the other was a simple walk to stop animation. Both shots are on my AM reel. Oh, and the EA reel did not have the generi "speeding" shot, which has the worst case of twinning you are likely to see (amoung other problems).
